Thanks to the generosity of USANA Associates and staff, the 2015 True Health Foundation Fundraiser Day raised valued additional funds for The Smith Family and KidsCan.
In 2014/2015 The Smith Family (Australia) supported hundreds of disadvantaged children through its Learning for Life program and our partnership with KidsCan (New Zealand) also supported 1000’s of children in need.
Across the day a total of $2626.55 was raised in USANA Australia and New Zealand region – a fantastic achievement!
The money was raised from a variety of activities including a staff baking sale and a raffle! Australian Associates loved the mix and match options to take into their meetings and the New Zealand cupcakes must have been a hit as they were sold out by 1pm! On the day, 4-Star Diamond Director Aileen Zhou was the lucky Australian raffle winner and Lin Zhao won the raffle in New Zealand.
USANA Australia General Manager, Geoff Watt, said during the event that he had “never been more proud….how fantastic to see hundreds of Associates in support of the True Health Foundation at our offices”.
“We want to say a big thank you to everyone who got involved and donated. Thanks to the staff for baking and thanks to all the Associates and their guests for coming along and tasting all our yummy treats!”
Sarah Wilson from USANA Customer Service in New Zealand said she loves the True Health Foundation Day because there is always a “great energy in the air”.
“It was touching to see everyone come together and contribute whether it was baking cupcakes or donating to the cause,” Sarah said.

USANA Associates give their time at KidsCan volunteer day.
Recently 13 of our Associates, including one of our newest Diamond Directors Fei Xu, graciously gave their time to pack pallets of food to be sent to KidsCan partner schools.
One in four New Zealand children, that’s 260,000, live in poverty, going without the basics most of us take for granted. KidsCan currently provides free food at school for over 20,000 financially disadvantaged children a week. Schools use the food provided by KidsCan in ways that ensure those children most in need are well fed, not stigmatised, and have enhanced wellbeing.
USANA Associate Susanna Andres Campbell said she was “grateful for the opportunity I had to volunteer for KidsCan through USANA”.
“It was a morning filled with community spirit and the joy of being in the service of those who need it most – the children living in poverty.
I truly believe in the power of giving back and I feel privileged to have been able to contribute in a small way, it was such a fulfilling experience for me and the work of KidsCan has left a lasting impression on me,” she said.
KidsCan could not do reach as many children without the generosity of the USANA associates and customers who donate to the USANA True Health Foundation through their monthly auto order.
